Draw Your Home: Pen & Ink

In this two-session, beginner-friendly workshop, bring your home to life through the timeless art of pen and ink drawing! Using a photo of your own home as a reference, you’ll learn how to translate its unique character, architectural details, and special features into a beautiful ink drawing while building foundational drawing skills along the way.

You’ll explore the fundamentals of pen and ink as you practice creating expressive lines, adding texture with hatching and cross-hatching, and using shading to bring depth and dimension to your artwork. You’ll also learn how to observe shapes, proportions, and details in your reference photo and use basic composition techniques to create a balanced, engaging drawing.

Over the two sessions, you’ll build confidence in your drawing abilities while creating a personal work of art inspired by a place that’s meaningful to you.

Please bring a photo of your home to use as your reference. All art materials are provided, and no prior drawing experience is necessary. Just bring your photo, curiosity, and creativity!

All supplies included. TMA members receive 10% off all registrations.
