Do you like the thought of working with precious metals like sterling silver, but felt intimidated by the cost? Working with real silver doesn't require a set up that costs hundreds of dollars as we introduce you to Silver Metal Clay!
In this workshop, we will explore some of the basics of how to start working with Silver Metal Clay. You will learn how to create a 3D piece which will be a “cap” for a quartz crystal. We’ll create a bale and finish/sand this piece.
Afterwards, all bales will be fired at DinsDesigns studio for 2 hours in a kiln at 1650°. Once fired, this clay becomes 99% pure silver! We will finish your piece, add a cord and deliver it back to TMA for pickup within a week
