In this workshop open to everyone, we will explore some of the basics working with Silver Metal Clay, but if you have taken one of our silver classes before, you’ll be more comfortable with this project. We will create a pair of earrings using fine silver and a dangle pearl we will wrap by hand. Through a process similar to working with clay and pottery, we will roll out a piece of silver clay, texture it and cut circles. The piece will be dried in a form making it concave. After being fired at DinsDesigns studio for 2 hours in a kiln at 1650°, this clay is 99% pure silver! We will finish your piece with lever-back sterling wires and deliver them back to TMA for pickup within a week
