Step into the studio as art and storytelling merge. During this live, three-hour session, Artist in Residence Dane Schumacher will paint a portrait of new community member every session, while engaging them in a personal interview that explores their story, experiences, and identity.
Visitors are invited to observe this creative process, witnessing how conversation can shape artwork as it unfolds. While you watch, you’re encouraged to sketch or draw from observation. Sketchbooks and drawing materials will be provided if you feel inspired.
