THE GIRLS CLAY LAB
Make It. Change It. Own It.

A Two-Session Hand-Building Ceramic Lab for Girls Ages 12–18

Session 1 — Make It + Try It
Participants learn basic hand-building techniques and create a ceramic piece inspired by something meaningful to them. Through experimentation and a creative challenge, they practice taking risks, trying new ideas, and embracing unexpected outcomes.

Session 2 — Change It + Own It
Participants refine and finish their pieces while practicing creative decision-making and problem-solving. They reflect on their process, develop a short artist statement, and prepare to share their work with family and friends.
