Remarks at 5 PM followed by Panel Discussion Discussion moderated by Holly Kowalski Light hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails
Join us on Saturday, October 25 from 4–7 pm at the new Trout Museum of Art for an intimate, invite-only evening honoring the life and legacy of the late artist and educator Li Hu. This special tribute will feature guided exhibition tours led by Li Hu’s former students and an insightful panel discussion exploring his profound influence as an artist, mentor, and cultural leader.
Reflections will be shared by his wife Ping Li and family, alongside other close colleagues. The evening will culminate in a live participatory photo tribute, where guests will co-create a living sculpture in homage to one of Li Hu’s self-portraits. All attendees will receive a commemorative photo of the performance as a token of appreciation.
This private event will be held in the Community Gathering Space and adjacent classrooms at the museum. We look forward to celebrating this visionary legacy with you.
